Republican Party of Calumet Party Articles & Member Editorials!
Now that was fun! Thank you to all of you brave souls to have fought your way through the snow to vote on Tuesday. Even though some of you, judging by some comments at the poll, only came to cast your ballot in favor of the referendum strongly declaring that our elections are sacred and tossing Zucker Bucks out of our state. Imagine how one sided the vote would have been if more of you would have signed up for absentee ballots or done early voting.
And just when you thought the pain was over, we are starting the race for senate. I have just become aware one of the dirtiest tactics employed by the dems has been to create fake - yes fake - news outlets. They “publish” a false story then push the heck out of it as published as fact. For example, Eric Hovde is being repeatedly accused of being an outsider - a California boy.
In reality, he grew up in Wisconsin, graduated from the UW, worked in Wisconsin, married, lived in and raised a family in Wisconsin.
If they are lying about his background what else? Eric Hovde is the real deal. He could well be even more conservative than Ron Johnson. He will be coming around the state and Calumet County to meet the voters. He seems to be very genuine. The Republican Party of Calumet County will make every effort to make him available for you all to meet. He loves questions. Get ready - this is going to be fun. " - James Lintner
NOTE: All candidates, have or will have an opportunity to make their case to our Members at membership meetings, if they choose to accept our invitation.

Tri-County News- Letter to Editor:
"The Chilton Board of Education is non-partisan but don’t kid yourself. Not every person running for a seat this year will put their politics aside. It will take a little more effort on voters as you will have to WRITE IN your candidates name. If you drive around town, you’ll see two names for write-ins - Eli Shavier and Jerry Kolbe.
I plan to vote for WRITE IN Jerry Kolbe for Chilton Board of Education. Jerry has experience both in business and in the community, and the board as well. Having to step down due to personal reasons, he is back willing to dedicate his time to making our district a better place for students and families. Jerry Kolbe stands for family values and not radical ideologies that have taken root in our small town Chilton district.
Some areas of grave concern is that of sexually explicit books and sexually based clubs formally and informally taking place in our schools for students as young as 5th grader. Back in 2019, Eli Shaver defended a sexually explicit book, Sex is a Funny Word, that was located on the bottom shelf of the youth section at the public library, just feet away from the kiddy carpet area. Parents and community members voiced concerns of the explicit book (which discussed private parts and masterbation) being so easily accessible to children scanning the shelves.
In May of 2020, the community members voiced concern over the middle school asking students to wear tye-dye to support gender differences and sexual orientation day. Needless to say the outcry of disgust at the focus of sexuality in our middle school got the dress up day canceled. But while community members voiced concern over this stuff taking place to the school board, Shavier (who is the former president of the Democrats of Calumet County) defended such days and support for radical ideologies for our young learners.
Last year, community members addressed the school board over yet another sexually explicit book, Gender Queer, located in the High School library. This book, which is so graphic, it can’t even be copied off at a library due to its pornagraphic nature, is just 1 of many examples of radical ideologies in our small town schools. Judging on Shavier’s defense of Sex is a Funny Word back in 2019, I don’t think he’ll mind Gender Theory, which is why I would never write in his name. I find it curious that his post card which was mailed to Chilton residences had no reference to his defense of sexually explicit books.
For the betterment of our children and district, write in JERRY KOLBE for Chiton School Board. Keep radical ideologies out, get the basics of reading and writing back in! "
